A.Vogel’s Milk Thistle Complex was amongst the very first herbal products formulated by Alfred Vogel, one of Switzerland’s best known naturopaths. Comes in tincture and tablet formats. Cough syrups help to ease the irritation in the respiratory tract. They are sometimes required after a cold or flu, or following other infections of the respiratory tract. Conventional cough syrups may contain ingredients that may cause drowsiness – and this is the reason why some people prefer to use a cough syrup containing herbal or natural ingredients which are not associated with this concern. Directions: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) two to four times daily. A measuring cup is provided. If your symptoms worsen or if you do not feel any benefit within 1 week, talk to your doctor. Bronchosan should not be used by: Children under 12 years of age Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding Those who are allergic to Spruce (Picea abies), Pine, Colophony or any of the other ingredients Ingredients: Bronchosan is a herbal cough syrup obtained from freshly harvested young shoots (leaves) of organically cultivated Pine trees, also known as Spruce trees. It also contains honey. 5ml (6.95g) of the cough syrup contains 1.445g of extract (as soft extract) from fresh Picea abies (L.) Karsten (spruce) shoots (0.9-1.2:1.) Extraction solvent: water. The other ingredients used for the cough syrup are raw cane sugar, honey, concentrated pear juice and pine oil. Bronchosan contains sugars (5.25g of carbohydrate per 5ml dose).

Echinaforce® is a licensed traditional herbal remedy for colds and flu. It helps the body fight the symptoms of these infections by supporting the immune system, helping to maintain the body's resistance. A.Vogel Echinacea drops (tincture) and tablets may be used by adults and children over the age of 12 years to fight the symptoms of colds and flu. Dosage of Echinaforce® drops: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: 15 drops (0.6ml) of tincture in a small amount of water, 2 to 3 times daily. Dosage of Echinaforce® tablets: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: Two tablets, 2 to 3 times daily. Echinaforce® Echinacea drops: This is the original extract formulated by Alfred Vogel and contains the tinctures of Echinacea purpurea herb and root. 0.6ml drops  equivalent to 285mg whole fresh plant. Also contains 65%v/v ethanol. Echinaforce® Echinacea tablets: This is the tabletted version of Echinaforce® drops. Each tablet contains the extract of Echinacea purpurea herb and root equivalent to 270mg whole fresh plant. Also contains lactose, starch, magnesium stearate.

A.Vogel's Stress Relief Daytime is a herbal remedy containing extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian and Hops. Stress Relief Daytime is a natural based herbal remedy for mild anxiety and symptoms of stress. It may be used by adults (those over 18 years of age) and the elderly. Take 10 to 20 drops once or twice daily. Do not take more than the recommended dose. This herbal remedy is not known to be habit forming. Stress Relief Daytime contains the natural based herbal extracts of Valerian (valerian tincture) and Hops (hops tincture) obtained from freshly harvested herbs organically cultivated in Switzerland. 1ml of Stress Relief Daytime (equivalent to 35 drops) contains:

• Valerian root tincture 0.5ml (ethanol 58% V/V)
• Hops strobile tincture 0.5ml (ethanol 65% V/V)

Other ingredients used are ethanol and water.

Venagel contains the extract of fresh Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) seeds. Horse chestnut extracts are commonly associated with the treatment of varicose veins, such as with our Venaforce® Horse chestnut tablets. However, Horse chestnut extracts in gels are soothing, providing cooling relief to legs that feel weary, heavy and uncomfortable – fantastic after a night out or a day’s shopping. It is also useful for long journeys (especially by plane), during hot weather and can be used during pregnancy. Directions for use: Massage a small amount of the gel onto the skin 2 to 3 times a day using an upwards motion. Pay special attention to the ankles and the areas that feel most uncomfortable. When possible, keep legs raised for 20 minutes. If you think you have a condition that may require medical treatment, consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this product. Do not apply to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not apply to inflamed or broken skin. Ingredients: Water, alcohol, Horse chestnut seed (Aesculus hippocastanum) extract, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyglyceryl-4 caprate, glycerin (plant origin).

Echinaforce Chewable contains the same herbal extract of freshly harvested Echinacea purpurea .It may be used by children (above the age of 12 years) to help fight the cold and flu. Directions for use: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: Chew 2 tablets two to three times daily. For oral use only. Do not use Echinaforce® Chewable if you are allergic to Echinacea, other members of the daisy family or any of the other ingredients. Ingredients: 1 tablet contains 380mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench herb (1:12) and 20mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.)
