Sore throat remedies often come in useful when one is afflicted by the common cold or flu. A.Vogel’s Sore Throat spray is made from the well known herbal remedy Echinaforce® combined with Sage tincture and is a herbal remedy used to relieve sore throat symptoms. Our Sore Throat spray may be used by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sore throat remedy, apply 2 sprays to the back of the throat, six to ten times daily. Do not breathe in during application. Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray comes in a bottle with a specially designed pump spray: ·

• Before first use, activate the spray by pressing the pump 2 or 3 times. To use the spray, shake the bottle well, place the nozzle just inside the mouth, pointing towards the back of the throat and press the pump.

As with other sore throat remedies, do not use this product to treat your sore throat for longer than 7 days. This is because if your symptoms persist for this period of time, you should see a doctor or other healthcare practitioner. It is available in a 30ml bottle, with a specially designed spray nozzle which delivers the herbal extracts to the back of the throat. Each 1ml of Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray contains:

• 863.3mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea herb
• 45.5mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea root
• 430mg of tincture from fresh Sage leaves

This herbal remedy also contains sorbitol (407mg), ethanol (370mg), soy lecithin (20mg) and sucrose laurate (5mg). Echinacea is native to North America but now cultivated extensively in Europe. It is one of our most popular herbs and used traditionally to treat the symptoms of colds and flu, including sore throats. Sage is also one of our best known traditional remedies. It too has a history of use for treating sore throats. The plants used to produce Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray are cultivated organically in Switzerland at our own herb farms.

Dormeasan is a herbal sleep remedy made from extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian root and Hops. Dormeasan may be used as a sleep remedy or for mild anxiety, by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sleep remedy: Take 30 drops of the herbal remedy in a little water half an hour before bedtime. For mild anxiety: This product may also be used to relieve the symptoms of mild anxiety. Take 10 - 20 drops once or twice daily. Don't take more than the recommended dose. This product is not known to be habit forming. Ingredients: Dormeasan® contains Valerian extract (Valerian tincture) and Hops extract (Hops tincture), obtained from freshly harvested, organically cultivated valerian root and hops. It comes in the form of a herbal tincture (liquid drops). 1ml of Dormeasan® oral liquid (equivalent to 35 drops) contains: Valerian root tincture 0.5ml (Valeriana officinalis L.) (1:10-11) Extraction solvent: ethanol 58%v/v Hops strobile tincture 0.5ml (Humulus lupulus L.) (1:12-13) Extraction solvent: ethanol 65% v/v Other ingredients used are ethanol and water.

Eyes can become dry and irritated as a result of a number of factors in our modern world. Working long hours at a computer screen, heating, air-conditioning and pollution are all contributory factors. Eyes become drier with age and use of contact lenses can irritate eyes. Directions: Adults, the elderly and children (12 years and over): 1 drop in each eye 4 to 5 times daily, or more often as required. Children from the age of 3 years: 1 drop in each eye 1-2 times daily. Each bottle provides about 300 drops. Please note that there will always be a small amount of liquid left in the bottle after use. We recommend that you do not share eye drops with other people. Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Ingredients: A.Vogel Eye drops contain Hyaluronic acid (1mg/ml ), Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright), Sodium choloride, Boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, Sodium hydroxide, Hydrochloric acid and Water. The unique bottle design keeps the contents sterile without the need for preservatives, ensuring that once opened, the product can be used as often as needed. Use within 12 weeks of opening. Store between 15- 25oC.

This is the latest product in our Echinaforce® range. It combines our well-known fresh Echinacea root and herb extracts with Black Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) to produce a soothing and palatable hot drink. Just what you need to help fight off symptoms such as aching limbs and headaches when you are struck down by the cold or flu. Echinaforce® Hot Drink should be diluted with hot water and made into a hot drink before use. 1. Fill the 5ml measuring spoon provided with the product. 2. Pour the contents of the spoon into a cup. 3. Add hot water and stir.   Adults and children over 12 years: Days 1 to 3: Take 5ml diluted in hot water five times daily Days 4 to 10: Take 5ml diluted in hot water three times daily For oral use only. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not take this product for a cold or flu for more than 10 days. 5ml of concentrate contains 1,140mg of extract (as tincture) of fresh Echinacea purpurea herb and 60mg of extract (as tincture) of fresh Echinacea purpurea root; and 1,383mg of elderberry juice concentrate.

Cough syrups help to ease the irritation in the respiratory tract. They are sometimes required after a cold or flu, or following other infections of the respiratory tract. Conventional cough syrups may contain ingredients that may cause drowsiness – and this is the reason why some people prefer to use a cough syrup containing herbal or natural ingredients which are not associated with this concern. Directions: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) two to four times daily. A measuring cup is provided. If your symptoms worsen or if you do not feel any benefit within 1 week, talk to your doctor. Bronchosan should not be used by: Children under 12 years of age Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding Those who are allergic to Spruce (Picea abies), Pine, Colophony or any of the other ingredients Ingredients: Bronchosan is a herbal cough syrup obtained from freshly harvested young shoots (leaves) of organically cultivated Pine trees, also known as Spruce trees. It also contains honey. 5ml (6.95g) of the cough syrup contains 1.445g of extract (as soft extract) from fresh Picea abies (L.) Karsten (spruce) shoots (0.9-1.2:1.) Extraction solvent: water. The other ingredients used for the cough syrup are raw cane sugar, honey, concentrated pear juice and pine oil. Bronchosan contains sugars (5.25g of carbohydrate per 5ml dose).

Made from extracts of fresh arnica, Atrogel® is an easy-to-apply, no-greasy gel, used traditionally to help relieve pain. Externally applied, its anti-inflammatory properties helps to ease muscular aches, joint pain and stiffness, sprains, strains and swelling after injury, as well as bruising. Directions: Atrogel® Arnica gel may be used to relieve pain and bruising in adults, children and the elderly. Apply 2 to 10 cm of the gel gently to the affected area. Use between 2 and 4 times daily for pain relief. Atrogel® Arnica gel may be used by those who are pregnant. Don’t use Atrogel® if you have broken or irritated skin, if you are allergic to arnica preparations or other members of the daisy (Asteraceae / Compositae) family, or any of the other ingredients. Use within 5 months of opening. Ingredients: Atrogel® Arnica gel is a herbal gel obtained from freshly harvested, organically cultivated Arnica montana. 1g of gel contains 500mg of arnica extract, equivalent (on average) to 160mg fresh arnica flowers. Other ingredients are ethanol, purified water, glycerol (derived from plants) and hypromellose (a thickening agent). The product is free from genetically modified ingredients.
