Cough syrups help to ease the irritation in the respiratory tract. They are sometimes required after a cold or flu, or following other infections of the respiratory tract. Conventional cough syrups may contain ingredients that may cause drowsiness – and this is the reason why some people prefer to use a cough syrup containing herbal or natural ingredients which are not associated with this concern. Directions: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) two to four times daily. A measuring cup is provided. If your symptoms worsen or if you do not feel any benefit within 1 week, talk to your doctor. Bronchosan should not be used by: Children under 12 years of age Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding Those who are allergic to Spruce (Picea abies), Pine, Colophony or any of the other ingredients Ingredients: Bronchosan is a herbal cough syrup obtained from freshly harvested young shoots (leaves) of organically cultivated Pine trees, also known as Spruce trees. It also contains honey. 5ml (6.95g) of the cough syrup contains 1.445g of extract (as soft extract) from fresh Picea abies (L.) Karsten (spruce) shoots (0.9-1.2:1.) Extraction solvent: water. The other ingredients used for the cough syrup are raw cane sugar, honey, concentrated pear juice and pine oil. Bronchosan contains sugars (5.25g of carbohydrate per 5ml dose).

A.Vogel Cough Spray contains a combination of 100% natural active ingredients for the treatment of dry and tickly coughs. It is non-habit forming and does not cause drowsiness. It can be used together with other medicines including cough remedies. Directions: Bronchoforce may be used by children (over 12 years of age), adults and the elderly. Take 20 drops 3 to 5 times daily. This herbal remedy is for oral use only. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Ingredients: the spray are honey, water, Verbascum thapsus (Mullein) extract, Altharea officinalis (Marshmallow) root extract and potassium sorbate. Each 30 ml bottle delivers 150 sprays. Bronchoforce is a herbal remedy containing extracts of liquorice and freshly harvested Ivy and Thyme. 1 ml of oral liquid contains: 376mg of tincture from fresh ivy herb (Hedera helix L.) 329mg of tincture from fresh aerial parts of thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.)234 mg of tincture from liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) Bronchoforce also contains Star Anise oil and Eucalyptus oil.

A.Vogel Sinuforce Nasal Spray with menthol provides rapid relief for nasal catarrh and a blocked or congested nose. It reduces swelling of the nasal mucous membranes, but leaves the natural protective function intact. Directions: Children (2-12 years): Spray once into each nostril, 1-2 times a day for a period not exceeding 30 days. Adults: Spray once or twice into each nostril, 3-5 times daily for a period not exceeding 30 days. This product is not suitable for children under 2 years old. Ingredients: Physiological saline solution (purified water, sodium chloride (NaCl), disodium hydrogen phosphate-12H2O, sodium dihydrogen phosphate-2H2O); sorbitol; PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil; eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus); peppermint oil (Mentha piperita); chamomile oil (Chamomilla recutita).

Sore throat remedies often come in useful when one is afflicted by the common cold or flu. A.Vogel’s Sore Throat spray is made from the well known herbal remedy Echinaforce® combined with Sage tincture and is a herbal remedy used to relieve sore throat symptoms. Our Sore Throat spray may be used by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sore throat remedy, apply 2 sprays to the back of the throat, six to ten times daily. Do not breathe in during application. Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray comes in a bottle with a specially designed pump spray: ·

• Before first use, activate the spray by pressing the pump 2 or 3 times. To use the spray, shake the bottle well, place the nozzle just inside the mouth, pointing towards the back of the throat and press the pump.

Sage herb has been used traditionally to treat some of the most common and troublesome symptoms of the menopause such as the famous but socially embarrassing and uncomfortable hot flushes. Following close behind are the accompanying night sweats making peaceful sleep elusive. Menoforce® Sage tablets may be used by women (over 18 years of age) experiencing symptoms of the menopause such as hot flushes and night sweats. Dosage is one tablet daily. Don't take Menoforce® if:

Menoforce® Sage tablets contain an extract of sage herb obtained from freshly harvested, organically cultivated sage. Sage has been traditionally used as a herb for the relief of excessive sweating, particularly during the menopause. Menoforce® comes in the form of a one-a-day herbal sage tablet. Each tablet contains 51mg of concentrated dried tincture from fresh Sage (Salvia officinalis L. ) leaves (1:17-18). Extraction solvent: ethanol 68% V/V.
