Sore throat remedies often come in useful when one is afflicted by the common cold or flu. A.Vogel’s Sore Throat spray is made from the well known herbal remedy Echinaforce® combined with Sage tincture and is a herbal remedy used to relieve sore throat symptoms. Our Sore Throat spray may be used by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sore throat remedy, apply 2 sprays to the back of the throat, six to ten times daily. Do not breathe in during application. Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray comes in a bottle with a specially designed pump spray: ·

• Before first use, activate the spray by pressing the pump 2 or 3 times. To use the spray, shake the bottle well, place the nozzle just inside the mouth, pointing towards the back of the throat and press the pump.

As with other sore throat remedies, do not use this product to treat your sore throat for longer than 7 days. This is because if your symptoms persist for this period of time, you should see a doctor or other healthcare practitioner. • 863.3mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea herb
• 45.5mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea root
• 430mg of tincture from fresh Sage leaves

This herbal remedy also contains sorbitol (407mg), ethanol (370mg), soy lecithin (20mg) and sucrose laurate (5mg). Echinacea is native to North America but now cultivated extensively in Europe. It is one of our most popular herbs and used traditionally to treat the symptoms of colds and flu, including sore throats. Sage is also one of our best known traditional remedies. It too has a history of use for treating sore throats. The plants used to produce Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray are cultivated organically in Switzerland at our own herb farms.

Echinaforce® is a licensed traditional herbal remedy for colds and flu. It helps the body fight the symptoms of these infections by supporting the immune system, helping to maintain the body's resistance. A.Vogel Echinacea drops (tincture) and tablets may be used by adults and children over the age of 12 years to fight the symptoms of colds and flu. Dosage of Echinaforce® drops: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: 15 drops (0.6ml) of tincture in a small amount of water, 2 to 3 times daily. Dosage of Echinaforce® tablets: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: Two tablets, 2 to 3 times daily. Echinaforce® Echinacea drops: This is the original extract formulated by Alfred Vogel and contains the tinctures of Echinacea purpurea herb and root. 0.6ml drops  equivalent to 285mg whole fresh plant. Also contains 65%v/v ethanol. Echinaforce® Echinacea tablets: This is the tabletted version of Echinaforce® drops. Each tablet contains the extract of Echinacea purpurea herb and root equivalent to 270mg whole fresh plant. Also contains lactose, starch, magnesium stearate.

Fresh extract of Centaurium umbellatum Centaurium is well known to herbalists as a ‘stomach bitter’ – one of the classes of herbs with bitter taste and used to aid digestion. For these herbs, it is important to taste the bitterness – and because of this, it is better to use herbs such as Centaurium as a tincture taken 5 minutes before meals. Dosage :Adults: 10 - 15 drops 3 times daily beforre meals, in a little water. Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age twice daily in a little water. Do not exceed stated recommended daily dose. Please seek medical advice if pregnant. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Ingredients:Tincture of organically grown fresh aerial parts of Centaurium umbellatum (Centaury), extracted in alcohol (66%V/V)

A.Vogel Agnus castus is a licensed herbal remedy which can be used to help relieve symptoms of PMS (premenstrual syndrome) such as menstrual cramps, breast tenderness, bloating, irritability and mood swings. Directions: Women experiencing premenstrual symptoms: 15 to 20 drops in a little water twice daily. Taking the maximum daily dose, you get 1,000 mg of Agnus castus extract, equivalent to 100mg dried berries. The effects of this product may not be felt immediately. For best results you may need to take this product for up to 3 months. Do not take more than 40 drops a day. Not for use in children or those under 18 years of age. Do not use if you have a pituitary gland disorder, are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding. Ingredients: Our Agnus castus is a licensed herbal remedy intended for use by women suffering symptoms of PMS. Each ml of oral liquid contains 895mg of tincture and is an extract of the fruit of Agnus castus (Vitex agnus-castus L.) (1:10). Ethanol 69.5% V/V

Made from extracts of fresh arnica, Atrogel® is an easy-to-apply, no-greasy gel, used traditionally to help relieve pain. Externally applied, its anti-inflammatory properties helps to ease muscular aches, joint pain and stiffness, sprains, strains and swelling after injury, as well as bruising. Directions: Atrogel® Arnica gel may be used to relieve pain and bruising in adults, children and the elderly. Apply 2 to 10 cm of the gel gently to the affected area. Use between 2 and 4 times daily for pain relief. Atrogel® Arnica gel may be used by those who are pregnant. Don’t use Atrogel® if you have broken or irritated skin, if you are allergic to arnica preparations or other members of the daisy (Asteraceae / Compositae) family, or any of the other ingredients. Use within 5 months of opening. Ingredients: Atrogel® Arnica gel is a herbal gel obtained from freshly harvested, organically cultivated Arnica montana. 1g of gel contains 500mg of arnica extract, equivalent (on average) to 160mg fresh arnica flowers. Other ingredients are ethanol, purified water, glycerol (derived from plants) and hypromellose (a thickening agent). The product is free from genetically modified ingredients.

Echinaforce Chewable contains the same herbal extract of freshly harvested Echinacea purpurea .It may be used by children (above the age of 12 years) to help fight the cold and flu. Directions for use: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: Chew 2 tablets two to three times daily. For oral use only. Do not use Echinaforce® Chewable if you are allergic to Echinacea, other members of the daisy family or any of the other ingredients. Ingredients: 1 tablet contains 380mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench herb (1:12) and 20mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.)
