Venagel contains the extract of fresh Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) seeds. Horse chestnut extracts are commonly associated with the treatment of varicose veins, such as with our Venaforce® Horse chestnut tablets. However, Horse chestnut extracts in gels are soothing, providing cooling relief to legs that feel weary, heavy and uncomfortable – fantastic after a night out or a day’s shopping. It is also useful for long journeys (especially by plane), during hot weather and can be used during pregnancy. Directions for use: Massage a small amount of the gel onto the skin 2 to 3 times a day using an upwards motion. Pay special attention to the ankles and the areas that feel most uncomfortable. When possible, keep legs raised for 20 minutes. If you think you have a condition that may require medical treatment, consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this product. Siberian Ginseng is native to North Eastern Asia and is often referred to as Eleutherococcus or eleuthero. It has been widely used in Eastern countries including Russia and China as an adaptogen. Dormeasan is a herbal sleep remedy made from extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian root and Hops. Dormeasan may be used as a sleep remedy or for mild anxiety, by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sleep remedy: Take 30 drops of the herbal remedy in a little water half an hour before bedtime. For mild anxiety: This product may also be used to relieve the symptoms of mild anxiety. A.Vogel Sinuforce Nasal Spray with menthol provides rapid relief for nasal catarrh and a blocked or congested nose. Directions: Children (2-12 years): Spray once into each nostril, 1-2 times a day for a period not exceeding 30 days. Sore throat remedies often come in useful when one is afflicted by the common cold or flu. A.Vogel’s Sore Throat spray is made from the well known herbal remedy Echinaforce® combined with Sage tincture and is a herbal remedy used to relieve sore throat symptoms. Fresh extract of Centaurium umbellatum Centaurium is well known to herbalists as a ‘stomach bitter’ – one of the classes of herbs with bitter taste and used to aid digestion. For these herbs, it is important to taste the bitterness – and because of this, it is better to use herbs such as Centaurium as a tincture taken 5 minutes before meals.
