For children from 6 months to 12 years, one bottle contains 100 servings (3 months supply). Dosage: 1ml a day provides an optimum amount of DHA (balanced with EPA) suitable for most age groups, but this can be increased as the child gets older and in some cases it could be increased even further depending on specific conditions or dietary needs. For children over 12 a higher ratio of EPA to DHA is preferable and our Lion Heart fish oil would be more suitable. To put the amounts into context, a typical 140g serving of farmed salmon (the size of a computer mouse) contains about 1,680mg of DHA and a tin of sardines (including the bones) contains around 433mg DHA.
