Sore throat remedies often come in useful when one is afflicted by the common cold or flu. A.Vogel’s Sore Throat spray is made from the well known herbal remedy Echinaforce® combined with Sage tincture and is a herbal remedy used to relieve sore throat symptoms. Our Sore Throat spray may be used by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. As a sore throat remedy, apply 2 sprays to the back of the throat, six to ten times daily. Do not breathe in during application. Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray comes in a bottle with a specially designed pump spray: ·

• Before first use, activate the spray by pressing the pump 2 or 3 times. To use the spray, shake the bottle well, place the nozzle just inside the mouth, pointing towards the back of the throat and press the pump.

As with other sore throat remedies, do not use this product to treat your sore throat for longer than 7 days. This is because if your symptoms persist for this period of time, you should see a doctor or other healthcare practitioner. Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray is part of our range of herbal remedies for treating the symptoms of colds and flu. It is available in a 30ml bottle, with a specially designed spray nozzle which delivers the herbal extracts to the back of the throat. Each 1ml of Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray contains:

• 863.3mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea herb
• 45.5mg of tincture from fresh Echinacea purpurea root
• 430mg of tincture from fresh Sage leaves

This herbal remedy also contains sorbitol (407mg), ethanol (370mg), soy lecithin (20mg) and sucrose laurate (5mg). Echinacea is native to North America but now cultivated extensively in Europe. It is one of our most popular herbs and used traditionally to treat the symptoms of colds and flu, including sore throats. Sage is also one of our best known traditional remedies. It too has a history of use for treating sore throats. The plants used to produce Echinaforce® Sore Throat spray are cultivated organically in Switzerland at our own herb farms.

Our soy isoflavone product is obtained using an extract of fermented soya beans and provides 50mg of bioavailable phytoestrogenic soy isoflavones or 24mg of genistein daily, shown by research to be the right dosage.* This unique formulation also contains magnesium (known to help with symptoms such as tiredness and fatigue), hibiscus and vervain. Adults: Take 1 tablet twice times daily (morning and evening) with food. This product is not suitable for children. Menopause Support may be taken with HRT. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, if pregnant, breast-feeding or taking hormonal contraception. Menopause Support is a herbal food (dietary) supplement. Each tablet contains 405 mg of tri-magnesium dicitrate anhydrous, 42 mg of fermented soy bean extract (60% isoflavones), 35 mg Hibiscus extract and 0.25 mg Vervain essential oil. The tablets also contains microcrystalline cellulose, Beta vulgaris (beetroot juice) powder and hydrogenated cottonseed oil. The tablets are GM free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Venagel contains the extract of fresh Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) seeds. Horse chestnut extracts are commonly associated with the treatment of varicose veins, such as with our Venaforce® Horse chestnut tablets. However, Horse chestnut extracts in gels are soothing, providing cooling relief to legs that feel weary, heavy and uncomfortable – fantastic after a night out or a day’s shopping. It is also useful for long journeys (especially by plane), during hot weather and can be used during pregnancy. Directions for use: Massage a small amount of the gel onto the skin 2 to 3 times a day using an upwards motion. Pay special attention to the ankles and the areas that feel most uncomfortable. When possible, keep legs raised for 20 minutes. If you think you have a condition that may require medical treatment, consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this product. Do not apply to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not apply to inflamed or broken skin. Ingredients: Water, alcohol, Horse chestnut seed (Aesculus hippocastanum) extract, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyglyceryl-4 caprate, glycerin (plant origin).

A.Vogel's Stress Relief Daytime is a herbal remedy containing extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian and Hops. Stress Relief Daytime is a natural based herbal remedy for mild anxiety and symptoms of stress. It may be used by adults (those over 18 years of age) and the elderly. Take 10 to 20 drops once or twice daily. Do not take more than the recommended dose. This herbal remedy is not known to be habit forming. Stress Relief Daytime contains the natural based herbal extracts of Valerian (valerian tincture) and Hops (hops tincture) obtained from freshly harvested herbs organically cultivated in Switzerland. 1ml of Stress Relief Daytime (equivalent to 35 drops) contains:

• Valerian root tincture 0.5ml (ethanol 58% V/V)
• Hops strobile tincture 0.5ml (ethanol 65% V/V)

Other ingredients used are ethanol and water.

Echinaforce Chewable contains the same herbal extract of freshly harvested Echinacea purpurea .It may be used by children (above the age of 12 years) to help fight the cold and flu. Directions for use: Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: Chew 2 tablets two to three times daily. For oral use only. Do not use Echinaforce® Chewable if you are allergic to Echinacea, other members of the daisy family or any of the other ingredients. Ingredients: 1 tablet contains 380mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench herb (1:12) and 20mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) A.Vogel Sinuforce Nasal Spray with menthol provides rapid relief for nasal catarrh and a blocked or congested nose. It reduces swelling of the nasal mucous membranes, but leaves the natural protective function intact. Directions: Children (2-12 years): Spray once into each nostril, 1-2 times a day for a period not exceeding 30 days. Adults: Spray once or twice into each nostril, 3-5 times daily for a period not exceeding 30 days. This product is not suitable for children under 2 years old. Ingredients: Physiological saline solution (purified water, sodium chloride (NaCl), disodium hydrogen phosphate-12H2O, sodium dihydrogen phosphate-2H2O); sorbitol; PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil; eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus); peppermint oil (Mentha piperita); chamomile oil (Chamomilla recutita).
